Porepunkah - a compact energy efficient house
This is our house. We were after something small & stylish which would allow us to mimimise our energy requirements. We wanted to maximise the benefits of a five star energy rating & have a low water garden.
The building is also designed to be low maintenance.
Passive solar principles integrated with architectural design have given us a modern, light airy house and solar heated water for 8 months of the year.
